Finally, A Friend Called Beer

This isn't 1993, but it feels like home. Some pre-gathering reflections from one of the collective.

Come on people, smile on each other. Everybody, let's get together and watch some bad sci-fi right now!

Suz and I have been preparing for BYIF for many weeks now. Most of that preperation has been related to discussing if it really is possible for Dave to get his hands on the Esperanto Shatner piece everyone has been raving about. No matter. It is about more than Shatner.

It is about beer.

So I've been looking at my fridge and imagining it lined with Mississippi mud. Our arms in a mechanical one-two-three rotation: bottle down, bottle up, bottle at the mouth. This may be a reflection on the newest addition to the household who, though not a beer drinker, is inspirational in his single-minded consumption of fluids. You go boy!

So we've been thinking alot. And we rented a power washer to clean up the deck. And we can't wait to see 'yall.

Beer is your friend. I know it is.
