In With the Old and In With the New

The weekly updates continue on Monday nights. I'm as surprised as you are ...

Well, I'm slowly getting around to filling in parts of the site. This week's focus is in the Activities section, specifically the BIYF Festival - Current Year & Archive part.

I've finally got a page up for this year, such as it is, and just for our good friend Rollerballer, I've started dusting off the moldy relics of BIYF's past. My word is it painful. You'd think looking at the old sites would be entertaining (and hopefully it is for you), but yowza. The first few really look like those crappy homemade teacher websites I frequently rip on.

For a prime (and painful) example, check out the original 1998 site linked off of the BIYF Festival page. I'll add other years as soon as I can bear to look them over. So nasty.

Most of the links to things elsewhere on the web are long dead in the archive stuff, but the local ones still work. At least, even then, I could keep a consistent look and feel, just ... Eghh. Nasty. Just nasty.

Just click on Activities on the home page (or above) and then on the BIYF Festival link either under the header or by the description to get to the new/old stuff.

The site header is new again as of last weekend. Keep an eye out for "Drinkin' Jim" and his Mississippi Mud.
