Evil Plans Well Ahead of Schedule
"Holy Cr@p." says Zardoz. "There's something new on the site like, every day. It was never this way back when I was the only one posting stuff."
In other news...
My plan to sabotage my primary laptop in order to gain a Friday drinking companion seems to be succeeding beyond my wildest imaginings. If this didn't work, I was going to try installing Accelerated Reader and Math Magic for Mac OS 7.5 on it in order to drive ZootDaze to drink. "No, really. I NEED these programs to work in OS X in order to do my job!" It seems unnecessary, though.
I mean, "Thanks, Charlie! I owe you a Guinness or two."
I actually considered taking off this afternoon and heading to the Twin Cities for that B-Squad practice, but then my wife needed the good car in order to "work and make money" and "travel safely to Dubuque to meet with a potential client." Some people's priorities...
Are the Dagos good? Tell me the Dagos are still good.
It's probably just as well. I'm still wiped out from sleeping poorly the last couple nights. Oddly enough, I had a dream as well. Marcellus Wallace and I had just escaped a near-buggering from two rednecks and a gimp in a Minneapolis pawn shop. Well, I had escaped it anyway. I was making my exit in style on my new ride.
As I passed the station where the trains to Seattle depart (by the diner), who do I see but Dave O. on the sidewalk being stalked by some thugs. He's headed for the station, but he's not going to make it. I cross traffic to intercept.
"Come vith me eef you vant to leeve," I say. No wait, wrong movie.
"Dave, hurry!" I say and motion for him to climb aboard.
"Where did you get the bike?"
"It's a chopper, Dave"
"Where did you get the chopper?"
"Zed."
"Who's Zed?"
"Zed's dead, Dave. Zed's dead. And if you ask me any questions about pot-bellies, I'll be leaving you right here."
He didn't and we wasted no more time with idle banter. Or possibly Pulp Fiction was on in the middle of the night while I was failing to get any sleep.
Just for the record, I'm:- A 44 - Others see you as fresh, lively, charming, amusing, practical, and always interesting; someone who's constantly in the center of attention, but sufficiently well-balanced not to let it go to their head. They also see you as kind, considerate, and understanding; someone who'll always cheer them up and help them out. Parts of that seem right, I'll let you decide which ones.
- An 8 - The Big Shot
- A Leo - See Sandman's last post
- And a Monkey - Clever, but easily frustrated.
And so very, very tired. Must sleep now.
