"Monday Night's Alright For Posting"
Hot on the heels of two posts that are by someone other than me (Go Team Go!), comes this week's first update. Get a little action in ...
Trying to stay true to (and enable) the recently defined purpose, vision, and missions (see Welcome above), BIYF.com continues to grow and add new features. There are still lots of great things coming up, but I'm trying to ration out the innovations so that everyone gets a chance to check out the new stuff as it's added.
Plus, that makes it look like I'm always busy pushing the envelope, even when I'm just counting bars during the drum solo. It's difficult to wait, though, as I'm quite excited about at least one of the next few additions. Must... exercise.. restraint....
So hey, members of The Collective, make sure to check out the new posting feature like NotOfThisEarth, ZootDaze, and the Bricker already have. There's even bigger, and arguably better, things to come. If you still need to get your username/password, just let me know and I'll get you set up with whatever you want for them. It's pretty uncomplicated. Sorta like me. Whoo-haw! Drink Beer Oelwein!
For the record, I'm going to attempt to post something new at least every Monday night, so Tuesday mornings should be a good time to check for major updates. Of course, any of y'all can post any time you wish, so there may be something new regardless of when you decide to stop by. Tonight's update is mainly this semi-lame posting and the revised header above. I'll do better next week. Really. Hope the header isn't too enormous a download for you.
In regards to Incubus, the Shatner/Esperanto extravaganza, it is available as linked above at WilliamShatner.com for a mere $10.00, but oddly enough I haven't been able to bring myself to purchase it yet. I'm probably still bitter about my sound file request being ignored by his official fanclub email screener or something...
There's always Devil's Rain which, amidst some Ernest Borgnine-infused goodness, features a satanic Shatner sacrifice ("Shatanic?"). Sufferin' Succotash!
